Grandma Marcus turned 93 in September! To celebrate, much of the Marcus family was able to travel to Minnesota to celebrate. It was a fun-filled weekend and we had a great time seeing everyone again. We had Curt, Kara, and baby Grace for houseguests for the weekend and were happy that they seemed interested in joining us for some target practice. So while Cheryl and Bev watched the kids (what great grandmas!), my dad took Curt, Kara, Daryl, Chuck, Heather, John, and Nick and I out to the range to do a little shooting. What a good time! We had some good competition with the .40 caliber handguns, and also enjoyed shooting a fully-automatic assault rifle. After a lunch break in mid-afternoon, Kara and I stayed back to be with the girls, but the boys met up again to do some target practice with the sniper rifle. Sounds like everyone had a good day! |
