Rolling Over

Well, another milestone in Malin's life has been met - add "rolling over" to the list!  There have been a few times in the past few weeks where she has rolled over, but it has been more of an accident than something she intended to do.  And then yesterday at daycare, she decided that enough was enough and she is rolling all over the place now!  Ellie and Victoria got a kick out of watching her go last night, but I don't think they realize what it means to have a mobile sister yet!  Ha ha!

First tooth

Malin has officially cut her first tooth (which mommy discovered while nursing the other day)! Daddy is proud, but it will be awhile before anyone will be able to see it, as her big tongue is always in the way! Ha ha!

Sickness in the Marcus House

Our household has been hit with a couple of nasty bugs over the last week. Last Sunday, Ellie woke up from nap and vomited all over Nick. And then it continued until the next morning. Then Nick woke up Monday morning with the same stomach bug, so they stayed home together that day. On Tuesday, Victoria woke up with a bad cold and lots of congestion, and by Thursday, she was running a temp with it. On Friday morning, I got the stomach flu and was thankful that mom Marcus could take Victoria for the day since she couldn't go to daycare with a temp. We spent most of the weekend in the house trying to rest and get everyone healthy again. We thought it had worked, but lo and behold, we got a call from daycare today that Ellie was running a temp!

Since I have been working a little more the last week because Pam's been on vacation, Ellie came to the office after I picked her up from daycare today. Armed with juice, her pillow, a Spider-Man blanket (thanks Jess!), her Woody and Jessie dolls, and an assortment of movies, she was pretty excited to spend the afternoon in Nicks office relaxing and napping on his couch! Malin is 4 months old!

Yep - she's already that old! This little stinker is by no means "little" though! At her well child checkup, Malin weighed 16lbs 10oz (95%), was 27inches (99%), and had a head size of 43cm (92%). She's sure up there in size, just like her big sisters!

Malin has met a few milestones recently: she's pretty much rolled from back to tummy, loves to support herself on her legs, giggles socially (we also found her tickle spot under her chin), and just started rice cereal two days ago (she's growing so fast that my milk just didn't seem to be enough for her anymore!). One of the best news about Malin so far: she's healthy! Other than a few sniffles, she's never been sick - and after the last two weeks in our house, that's saying a lot!
