Go Gophers!

In mid-September, we took a break from the kiddos and drove to Minneapolis to see a Gopher game at the new TCF Stadium.  Nick and I hadn't been to a Gopher game since we had season tickets when he was in dental school, so it was really fun to check out a game again.  We had a great day with Brandy and Nick visiting, eating, watching the game, and even the drive was fun.  We all agreed that we would have to do something like this again very soon!  We did have a fun surprise when we got to the stadium - as we got to our seats, Aunt Karen and Uncle Paul were there to greet us!  Turns out they had gotten the seats directly behind us.  What a coincidence!  Despite the Gophers terrible record this season, they did manage to win the game we were at.

What a small world!  It was a total surprise to find Aunt Karen and Uncle Paul in the sets directly behind us at the game!
