"Eliana's Christmas Party at Daycare" - Ellie had lots of supporters during her Christmas party/program at daycare this year. Grandpa Dave, Grammy Bev, and Papa Daryl, along with Nick and I were all able to make it to her party. With so much attention, Ellie wanted nothing to do with the songs they were singing, the cookies they were decorating, or the art project. She did, however, relish in the attention she received from her family!
"Why We Only Allow Washable Markers in Our House" - Our little girl managed to get just as much (if not more) marker on her face, hands, and clothes as she did on the paper while decorating Christmas cards for her grandparents. Needless to say, markers only come out right before bathtime now.
"Christmas Eve with Grammy and Papa Marcus" - We had a great day celebrating with Bev and Daryl on Christmas Eve. It was a day filled with lots of gift-opening, lots of good food, and a family service at church in the evening. Ellie's grandparents also discovered what a fascination she has with shoes after she received a few pair from her wonderful great-aunts and had to change them multiple times throughout the day! Ellie even managed to persuade us to wear her new sparkle-light boots to church that night.
"Christmas Day with the Wyffels Family" - Another day filled with lots of good food, gift-opening, and time together as a family. Eliana was spoiled rotten by her aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Grandpa Dave thought he was done unpacking and putting together toys, but Ellie had a surprise in store for him. :) We also received a special visit from Santa Clause on Christmas Day! It was a great day and we are so happy that we were all there to celebrate together.
"Day After Christmas with the Marcus Side" - On the 26th, we celebrated Christmas for the third time - this time with Karen, Paul, Great-grandma Marcus, and Grammy & Papa. I wasn't able to get any pictures that day because my arms were full with an EXHAUSTED Eliana. But it was still a great day of visiting! Just to give you an idea of how tired she was, here's a quick photo taken the night before...
