We couldn't have had a better trip. The weather was beautiful the whole weekend and the cabin we rented just outside of Gardiner couldn't have been any more perfect for us. Ellie was in a fantastic mood the whole weekend and did great (with the exception of two rough nights). We were in Yellowstone all day Saturday and Sunday, and half of Monday. We did a few short hikes, but mostly just enjoyed the sights, scenery, major attractions (Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone), and even managed a dip in the natural hot springs. We relaxed in the mornings, made it to the park by about 9:30am, had picnic lunches, did more sightseeing, and ate dinner in Gardiner (a town next to the north entrance to the park). After dinner, we headed back to the cabin, put Ellie to bed, and challenged each other to games of Sorry!. (On a side note, Sarah and I were the winners!) We made many memories and couldn't have asked for a better trip or visit.

ReplyDeleteLove all these photos! Are you at all sad to leave the Montana mtns?! Spencer and Hazel have had nursemaid's elbow...we do not swing our kiddos by the arms much anymore! Sometimes it has been just a random turn with pressure and pop! Need an arm fixed. We are pros now...last time we didn't even go into the doctor! Anyways, so excited to see new photos as you get settled back into MN! My favorite pic this time is where you are holding Ellie and she is just SMILING! I want to pinch her cute little cheeks!
