Family Movie Night

Just a relaxing day at home today as a family. Ending the night as a family watching Tinkerbell (Nicks favorite! Ha ha!). Eliana and Victoria have been such great playmates today - good together time!

Sunday Afternoon Project

Wow - four blog postings in one weekend! You are beside yourselves... Aren't you? :)

"Project day" in our household translates to "Mommy has decided to throw her anal-retentive cleanliness ways out the window for one afternoon so her daughters can enjoy making a mess doing some kind of art project". It doesn't happen quite as often as it probably should, but hey - I try to loosen up once in awhile!

On today's agenda: salt dough handprint keepsakes and playdough! Today's projects were surprisingly cleaner than they have been in the past - perhaps it's a sign from God that I need to do them more often!

Fall Festival

Our church had its annual fall festival today. Despite the cooler temperatures, we had a really great time! The girls played on the swingset, played some games, went on a couple hayrides, we visited, had dinner, and just had an all around good time. We left Malin with Nana and Grandpa (after apple picking this morning, she had had enough outdoor weather), and we had some nice together time with the older two girls. Have I mentioned that I love fall?

We spent Saturday morning picking apples at Grammy and Papas house! It was a whole family affair. Loving fall!

Friday Night Rant

Ok. I promised everyone that you would hear from me more often beginning in October, so here you go! Though maybe after this post, you'll be glad that I don't post often!

Tonight's thoughts: companies and things that piss me off.

1.) Walmart. After spending half of my lunch hour today waiting at Walmart for someone to help me at the Site to Store counter, I still ended up walking away empty handed. What was the problem, you may ask? apparently nobody is allowed to use a register. Not a huge deal... Except that this isn't a one time occurrence. This happens EVERY time I order there. I was only picking up two crib sheets that had come in. Should have been in and out. But no.

2.) Charter. Realizing our bill had gone up $30 this last month, we called and found out our intro rate had expired and there is no cheaper plan out there. I have some choice words about this company, but I'll spare you and just say that for the last year and a half, this company has been listed on our caller Id as "fucking charter".

3.) Bloody noses. Eliana took a sharp turn tonight rounding a corner in the basement tonight and took a nosedive (literally) into the door frame. Good thing daycare had school pictures this morning because this one looks like she's going to have a swollen nose and black eyes in the morning. (Not to mention the blood on the clothes...)

4.) Babies that are supposed to be sleeping, and aren't. *cough* Malin *cough*

Ok. Feeling a little better. Time to enjoy a glass of wine and a tv show with my hubby!
